The Risks in the New WHS Regulations

The new WHS legislation is a total game-changer.

All your people leaders who direct or influence work carried out by others, engage or cause others to engage workers, or manage or control a workplace are considered a “Person Controlling a Business or Undertaking” under the new WHS legislation.

There are a new set of rules and changes that DIRECTLY affect everyone in the business.  If you don’t act – you will be non-compliant, and the ramifications are huge.

Please take three minutes to watch this video.  https://youtu.be/GcQBxyyNep8

The video will most likely entice you to take a look at the brochure (see attached, or click on image below).  Then, let’s chat about how I can help you to navigate this, and develop a strategy to be both compliant and delivering sustainable performance from your team.

Compliance is only half the story (and the MINIMUM requirement).  Sustainable performance is the goal for every business.

Note, you will NOT be compliant if:

  • You haven’t conducted a whole-of-business review with people from every level of worker.

  • You don’t have a WHS policy for tacking Psychosocial Hazards.

  • You don’t have a strategy to deliver on the Policy

  • Your PCBUs are not completely across the entire process.

  • Your entire workforce understands their position within the strategy.

I am happy to talk to you or someone else in your business around tackling this issue.
