Terms and Conditions

Now for the small print… please read

 

  1. All fees quoted are based on advanced payment and are valid for 60 days only.

  2. As any booking effectively removes me from the market for the agreed date(s), payment of invoice is required to secure your bookings. This will also allow me to commence with any specific preparation required for your programs. This usually includes research, future meetings or phone calls, tailoring content, developing slide packs, logistics, etc. 

  3. All invoices, unless otherwise stated, are payable within 14 days.

  4. Bookings require a 50% deposit of total fee upon agreement to secure and confirm your booking, with the remaining 50% required 14 days prior to any event. 

  5. The booking is not confirmed until a signed agreement and 50% deposit have been received as per above.

  6. Payment method is via Electronic Funds Transfer, through Xero.

TRAVEL AND ‘OUT-OF-POCKET’ EXPENSES

  1. For all work where travel is required, expenses including flights & accommodation are additional.  We generally prefer to make these bookings ourselves as my itinerary is often complex.

  2. All reasonable out-of-pocket expenses related to bookings and delivery are additional, including transfers, taxis, meals, rental cars, petrol, parking and specific workshop materials as required. Any additional expenses will be invoiced within 14 days from the completion of delivery. 

  3. For bookings where events start before 11.00am (local time) then accommodation may be required the night before. These will be included as expenses and invoiced as per above. 

CANCELLATIONS / POSTPONEMENTS

  1. Postponements under 14 days will be treated as cancellations.

  2. If any scheduling changes are required due to Covid-19 impacts then, within the same budget, we are able to deliver an online experience on the scheduled date or, where possible, as an in-person experience on a rescheduled date

  3. In the extremely unlikely event of cancellation by Mark Butler, all monies paid will be refunded immediately, or invested in credit towards an alternative booking. In any case, you will hear from us ASAP. Mark and his team are not liable for any costs you may have incurred in such instances.

  1. Intellectual Property
    The material used in the design and delivery of services by Mark Butler is the intellectual property of Mark Butler and all rights to its use are reserved under local Copyright Law.

  2. Confidentiality – from both of us!
    By agreeing to work with me, both of us recognise that during the course of this engagement both will become privy to sensitive and confidential material that is the property of the other. Therefore, let’s agree that both will ensure to not unwittingly, knowingly or deliberately divulge this material to anyone outside of our working agreement.

  3. I really value your feedback!  I aim to obtain feedback from you which may be in the form of a testimonial, quick survey or via a few short questions.

  4. Acknowledgement of agreements via email and/or payment of the confirmation invoice indicates and confirms your agreement to all of the above.
