New Year Theme

Happy New Year, everyone!

I hope 2022 brings you some stability and positivity after tha last two years we've had.

I realise that we may have made some resolutions and plans in the last two years that we didn't get to stick to. That's okay.. They still form part of what our Vision for our future looks like, even if they are still only a pipedream.

A vision gives us purpose and meaning, and is a guiding light when we are under duress. Our resilience requires us to have a clear vision so we can advance despite adversity.

Marshall Goldsmith wrote a book called 'What Got You Here, Won't Get You There. A wonderful sentiment that rings true, and highlights the need for thinking about how we are going to get to where we want to be.

I am delighted to share with you a process I have put together (please see the attachment and the video) for you to help plan what the year is going to look like. This is a process I learned from my mentor and friend, the great Australian four-time Olympic Competitor and Medallist, Dan Collins.

It is self-explanatory but, in essence, you are invited to consider each area of your life and make a committment to work towards a goal ior goals in each area.

It works best when in collaboration with those closest to you and who will share your journey and is more likely to stick when you have a shared committment and accountability.

I hope this is of value to you. Please feel free to share this with anyone in your community if you feel it may be worthwhile to them as well.
